Focused software engineer with a background in teaching specializing in responsive web development. What inspired me to become a web developer was my passion for building beautiful apps from scratch while creating an intuitive and engaging user experience. I find joy in solving interesting problems using thoughtful and creative approach.
Prior to coding, I worked for the NYC Department of Education as an ESL Specialist (Grades K-12) leveraging my leadership and communication skills. With a proven record of effective methodologies and class management skills, I've led several school-wide projects and professional workshops and trained teachers as well. My strong work ethic translates to my approach to coding as well. I thrive working in cross-functional teams while delivering high-quality code.
Outside of work, you'll find me attempting a new recipe in my kitchen, petting all the good dogs in nyc or hiking with my rescue puppy, Cooper.
